Dayannara Muñoz
Hi, I'm Dayannara, but everyone calls me Day.
I am a performance coach, sport scientist, and exercise physiology researcher dedicated to helping athletes maximize their potential through evidence-based training and coaching.
My path into human performance began when I first started training for the military in 2011. I was not an athlete growing up and had minimal exposure to anything fitness-related. I weighed only 90 pounds entering college and had to put on at least 15 pounds to meet military standards. I started training to gain muscle and to perform at the required standards. I realized I really enjoyed human performance and exercise physiology, so I started taking courses outside of my major, on my own time, and for my own enjoyment/curiosity.
Over the past decade, I have coached athletes ranging from beginners to Olympians, including endurance athletes and professional triathletes competing at the highest levels of the sport. I have also spent more than four years working as a collegiate strength coach and sport scientist, designing performance programs, conducting physiological assessments, and supporting athletes in their pursuit of long-term success.
